生産者さんは「佐多製茶」さんです。

ユタカミドリといえば、鹿児島県で多く栽培されている品種で全国的に見てもヤブキタに次いで生産量の多い品種です。
また、鹿児島県では深蒸し作りが多い中、こちらは浅蒸しの煎茶であります。

艶のある柔らかい芽のお茶で、茶葉から香る新茶のもうもうとした豊かな香りはまるで森の中にいるようなフレッシュな青さそのものです。
また、軽く火を入れているお茶ですので、淹れたときに立ち昇る香りも心地よい芳ばしさがあります。
コクのある旨味と軽く口の中に残る渋味が特徴で、何煎もお楽しみいただける持続力のある味わい深いお茶です。苦みや渋みが好きな方にも気持ちよく楽しんでいただけるお茶です。

Introducing our 2026 harvest Yutaka Midori, a vibrant and characterful Japanese green tea.
This tea is grown in Makurazaki, a renowned tea-producing area in southern Kagoshima, and carefully crafted by Sata Seicha.

Yutaka Midori is one of Kagoshima’s most widely grown cultivars and is the second most produced variety in Japan after Yabukita. While many teas from Kagoshima are deep-steamed, this one is made in a lighter, asamushi (light-steamed) style, offering a more delicate and refined expression.

Made from soft, glossy young leaves, this tea greets you with a rich, fresh aroma straight from the dry leaves — reminiscent of being surrounded by lush greenery in a forest. A gentle finishing roast adds a subtle, toasty fragrance that rises beautifully when brewed.

In the cup, you’ll find a full-bodied umami with a pleasant, lingering astringency. It has great depth and staying power, allowing you to enjoy multiple infusions without losing its character. If you appreciate a touch of bitterness and astringency in your tea, this one is especially satisfying.
