生産者さんは「古城製茶」さんです。

ヤブキタといえば、言わずと知れた日本一生産量の多い品種で、その日本のチャノキ栽培面積の約7割を占めているといわれています。
それゆえ、ヤブキタは生産地や生産者さんの特徴も様々なので、最も色んな特徴を楽しむことができる品種と言えるでしょう。

こちらのヤブキタは格別にまろやかな旨味が楽しめるお茶で、ヤブキタらしいキレのある渋味を持ちあわせているので、強い旨味も飲み心地のよいバランスの良い味わいです。
圧倒的な味わいと香りの良さから、栽培管理、製茶技術の高さと手間を惜しまない拘りを感じます。

やや火を強めに入れているお茶ですので、爽やかな草系の香りにほんのり火香が乗ったようなクラシックスタイルのお茶です。
今年はナッツの様な甘く香ばしい香りが大変よく、新茶の気持ちいい香味を味わえます。

This tea is grown in a beautiful, nature-rich area near the Kagoshima border and crafted by the skilled team at Furujo Seicha.

Yabukita is known for making up around 70% of Japan’s tea production, and one of the reasons it’s so loved is its versatility. Depending on where and how it’s made, it can show a wide range of flavors — and this one is a standout.

This tea has a wonderfully smooth, mellow umami, balanced by a clean, refreshing astringency typical of Yabukita. It’s rich without being heavy, making it easy and enjoyable to drink every day.

It’s finished with a slightly stronger roast, giving it a classic profile with a fresh green aroma layered with a gentle hint of roast. This year’s batch is especially aromatic, with a sweet, nutty note that really shines — a perfect way to enjoy the freshness of new-season tea.
